“I first started writing this song during the early days of the pandemic with my good friend and fellow artist J3M (Jemuel Roberts) and then finished it over a few bottles of red wine in the backyard with our good friend and incredible musician, Rachel Romu. We then took it to the studio and produced it together alongside producer Mike Tompa (Cinde, Alex Porat)”

This track is part of Doran’s forthcoming record “FIXER UPPER” set to release on June 1, 2023.

This is the second full length record from queer folk artist, Brooklyn Doran, and represents a strong shift in her musical direction- aiming for a more alternative sound that works to bend the folk genre.
