Sarah Hiltz is hitting the road this April with fellow folk artist Claire Coupland. The pair will be sharing music in cities and towns across Ontario and in Montreal in album launch tour celebrating Claire’s new album, New Light
Sarah’s opening set will feature music off her latest album CALM FURY (Mar 2022), which grew out of her research into the ways we experience, express, and repress anger as Canadians. “Songs have a timeless quality to them, as if they’ve always been there in your life, bringing comfort to difficult chapters,” (ADDICTED MAGAZINE).
Claire will share songs off of New Light, showcasing vulnerable reckonings of self worth, painful goodbyes, fragile family dynamics and ultimate hope for the future, with Sarah adding electric guitar and backing vocals. Bringing “a fresh, graceful feel to contemporary folk”, Claire’s crystal clear voice, smooth finger picking and jazz influenced progressions draw listeners into her personal world of life experiences.
