Coraline James: In the River

Coraline James: In the River

Coraline James' debut EP "In The River" combines classical and world influences with a pop sensibility. The EP was produced by Juno award winner Michael Wojewoda and includes contributions from Sammy Duke, Tom Moffet, Drew Jurecka, and Paul Brogee and Jay Foster of Long Range Hustle.

The opening track, "Giddy Heart" is an endearing love song expressing the hesitant excitement of a new relationship. "Every Word" explores the dismay and desperation that occurs when communication breaks down in a relationship and features a lovely fugal section with beautiful, and surprising melodies. The absolute banger that is the title track, takes an optimistic look at emotional and spiritual journeys and asks ""when you've reached the end, will you have faced your fear?""

Equal parts quirky and poignantly touching, "In The River" is a must listen.
