Glenn MacFarlane: Just the Blues
Glenn McFarlane will be performing a CD Release Concert for my latest CD on Friday, May 5th from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., in the sanctuary at St. Paul’s United Church, 30 Main St. South, Brampton. Entitled “Just the Blues”, the album also contains elements of swing, rockabilly, Cajun/Zydeco, rap, bluegrass, Celtic Rock, Classic Rock and even Bossa Nova. The concert is Pay-What-You-Can (suggested donation: $10) with all proceeds going toward the St. Paul’s Church Organ Fund.
The first video for the album, a rap piece entitled “Talk to the Duck”, is now up on Youtube. The idea is that if you are having trouble with a difficult problem, trying to explain it to an inanimate object will help you sort things out in your own mind.
