Kristin Lindell and Jesse Whiteley will dish up toe tapping roots infused with folk and blues with scintillating piano, evocative lyrics and ethereal vocals. River of Light is a collection of songs that map the places we visit and how they light up our soul, chronicling stories from Cortes Island BC to Algonquin Park. Songs like To the River, Shifting Sand and Barefoot Dancing depict our connection to the earth and the waters that flow. The duo will also play swing and blues tunes by Louis Prima, Lucinda Williams and Wilson Pickett.
