Kristin Lindell: River of Light

Kristin Lindell: River of Light

Singer Songwriter Kristin Lindell who hails from the Beach area of Toronto, has released River of Light, her third album. River of Light is about “the places you experience and the imprints they leave on your soul.” It's a collection of feelings and experiences mapped in song. The new album is part travelogue and part ‘songline’ as she sings the resonance of her soul as it journeys through a river of experience.

From a remote cabin near Portland Maine, to the far western shores of Cortes Island BC, and north to Algonquin Lakes, Lindell travels with spirit and song, telling tales of the impermanence of life, and the need to slow down and reconnect with our water, our sacred feminine spirit which is playful, present and integrated deeply with our earth.

The album features Lindell's effervescent, ethereal vocals, shimmering organ and piano by Jesse Whiteley, bass by Bret Higgins as well as Dean Drouillard on guitar and Adam Warner on bass.
