Land Heart Song is all about supporting families in nurturing love for the land through song, and on Friday, May 12, Land Heart Song releases the debut single “Thank You, Tree”. Land Heart Song is singer-songwriter and educator Tiiu Strutt (she/her), first-generation Canadian with Estonian and British heritage, living in Williams Treaty Territory, in the town of Mount Albert.
“Thank You, Tree”, produced by Joel Schwartz, offers gratitude to the land with an endearing, catchy melody. “This is one of my favourite songs to sing live, as it is a tune that connects joyfully and naturally with children,” says Tiiu. “We have a lot of fun exploring our voices as we sing together.” This single captures the joyful essence of “Thank You, Tree”, welcoming listeners to likewise sing along and have some fun with the tune.
