"When I’m working, I don’t always think about the big questions, but when the day is done, my mind goes to "What does it all mean? What am I doing with my life?". In those moments, I try to remember why I started doing music in the first place, and no matter how hard it can be, it’s worth it. I try to get some sleep, wake up refreshed, and fight the good fight for another day. The song feels like a conversation with myself, or with my partner (or a bit of both!). I think anyone who has worked hard to do what they love will understand. Life is hard sometimes, we all have doubts, but we have to keep the faith, and keep working for what we love."
The song was recorded with Producer Ross Hayes Citrullo (Emmy award winner / JUNO nominee) at RHC Music in Toronto. Ross and Zaddy have been collaborating on music since 2018 when they worked on his award-winning album 'Be'.
