Sandra Bouza: Good Vibrations
Toronto singer-songwriter Sandra Bouza sings her heart out on her new bluesy soul single ‘Good Vibrations' out now on all digital streaming platforms.
The second single from her new album, A Sound In The Dark, set for release on September 29th, 'Good Vibrations’ is about wanting to get past all of those horrible feelings right after a break-up.
"This song was me trying to sum up all of those confusing feelings after a relationship ends,” says Sandra. "This relationship was also my first experience of being in love, so there was a lot of confusion swirling around, and questioning of decisions. Sometimes you want to bypass the questions to end all the emotional pain, and just go back to your comfort zone, even if it wasn’t that comfortable."
Known as a musical shapeshifter, playing R&B, Soul, Rock, and everything in between, Sandra has much to offer through her music and life experience. The album came together during an artist’s residency on Halls Island, where she wrote most of the material. Everyone who’s heard her sing knows that Sandra’s always been a powerful vocalist and a compelling songwriter, but with the new recording, she has truly found her own voice, and the promise of her earlier work has come to full fruition.
