Tarek Ghriri: Refugee in the Sea

Album "Refugee in the Sea" by Tarek Ghriri is an expression of my personal journey and the collective struggles faced by so many who have sought refuge in new lands. Through my music, I aim to explore themes of love, heartbreak, Hope, and cultural identity, Hoping my music might pay homage to those who have lost their lives in the search for a better future.

This album features 7 original songs ordered based on the personal perspective of the artist, the listener is taken on a musical journey through India, the Middle East and Spain. The album showcases Tarek’s unique fusion World music, Arabic with Flamenco music, creating a unique and captivating sound , with songs featuring singing parts in Indian, Arabic and Spanish flamenco vocals. Reflecting Tarek’s passion for blending cultures and sounds, and his ability to tell a story through music.
