This past weekend was Folk Alliance 2023, the world’s largest gathering of the folk music industry and community! FMO was very pleased to attend and promote Canadian artists at the Ontario & Friends room, partnering with MusicOntario, the Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA), and the London Music Office!
The Ontario and Friends showcase ran for 3 nights and featured 21 Canadian acts! Folk Music Ontario Members performing include Les Rats d'Swompe, Joni Nehrita, James Keelaghan, Raine Hamilton, The Pairs, Tania Joy, Moonfruits, Janice Jo Lee and Jessica Pearson & The East Wind! Attendees also heard from Reney Ray, Basset, Aysanabee, Rum Ragged, Mark Bragg, Emma Worley, Kaia Kater, Berk Jodoin, Julie Neff, Royal Wood & Meredith Moon!
