Onion Honey: Foul Weather Friends

Onion Honey : Foul Weather Friends

"Onion Honey are proud to present their fifth full-length album, Foul Weather Friends, featuring twelve original and three classic Americana folk songs performed by quartet Esther Wheaton (banjo), Dave Pike (mandolin/guitar), Leanne Swantko (guitar/mandolin), and Kayleigh LeBlanc (double bass). Recorded and engineered by Andy Magoffin at the House of Miracles in Cambridge, Ontario, this is the band’s first professional studio album after a decade of self-produced music.

Onion Honey makes music like an old-fashioned string band - sweet and sharp and savoury, mountain music fresh from the Grand River Valley. The Kitchener-based quartet play retrofitted traditional tunes and original songs with old souls; they have been heard on radio stations across Canada and gig regularly around Southwestern Ontario."
