Ontario Folk Music Awards
October 15th, 2023
Each year the finest of Folk Music is celebrated at the Ontario Folk Music Awards.

Developing Artist Program
Summer 2023
The FMO Developing Artist Program is an opportunity for artists ages 18-25 to develop their music careers through one-on-one mentorship with established artists, sharpen industry knowledge and technical skills at workshops and master classes, and integrate into a welcoming community at Canada’s largest annual Folk Music industry gathering.
Folk in Film Festival
October 12-15th, 2023
The Folk In Film Festival (FIFF) is a mini film festival and film-oriented programming stream presented by Folk Music Ontario.
In its second year, FiFF features a range of Folk-In-Film programming including features, documentaries, music videos, live music videos, workshops and panels with filmmakers, and more. The festival takes place as part of the Folk Music Ontario Conference October 12-15, 2023, in London, ON.
Applicants can feel free to submit as many pieces as they feel are eligible.
Festivals' Retreat
Spring 2023
The Festivals' Retreat is the only event of its kind that is a gathering of the executive and management of Folk Festivals in Ontario. We bring in experts to lead discussions on topics focussed on the leadership, administration, and governance of festival organizations, with an emphasis on peer-to-peer learning, networking, and sharing.

Export Development Program
2023 year-round
The Export Development Program (EDP) brings together presenters from regional, national, and international markets, pairing them with export-ready showcasing artists for one-on-one pitch meetings, networking, and showcases.
