The Brampton Folk Club’s Annual Showcase Concert is Saturday, May 25th, where we present “Stories From Home”. Inspired by the City of Brampton celebrating its 50th anniversary, about 17 of your favourite Brampton Folk Club artists will reflect on where we call home (Brampton or otherwise), what it means to live there, or simply great stories about where we come from. It will feature well-crafted original songs alongside popular pieces by the likes of Gordon Lightfoot and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, as well as stories and recitations.
Advance tickets can be purchased
- From the City Box Office, online at BFC – Showcase Concert or in person at the Rose Theatre after noon on weekdays. From St. Paul’s United Church (30 Main St. South) in person during regular business hours.
- Advanced tickets can also be reserved through our website (Friday Folk Night Reservations) or by calling the folk club hotline at 647-233-3655.
- Tickets will also be available for purchase on the day at the door. We accept cash, cheque or e-transfer to bramptonfolk@sympatico.ca.
- The concert is wheelchair accessible and free parking is available at City Hall as well as the condo at 6 John St across from the church.
