Singer-Songwriter Will Gillespie is exited to be releasing his "groundbreaking" new album "MINE! True Stories and Legends of the Porcupine Gold Rush"at an official Hamilton Arts Week Signature Event. This event features a live, outdoor, immersive Theatrical experience, a gallery exhibit and culminates in a live outdoor concert with a 7-piece band performing the new album in its entirety and several other songs written and played in timeless, classic sounding Folk and Jazz styles.

The album features 12 new, original songs in historical styles from Swing to Bluegrass to Rockabilly to Ragtime, Hot Jazz, Concert Hall, Cabaret, Barrelhouse Blues, Waltzes and MORE! Telling harrowing real-life tales of adventure and perseverance from a lost chapter of Canadian history: the Porcupine Gold Rush of 1909. Taking the listener on a musical journey back in time to a world of prospectors, pioneers, bootlegger-bandits, high graders, dog-sledders and moonshiners.

The immersive, theatrical storytelling reenactment tours around the grounds of Fieldcote take place at 1:15, 2:00 and 2:45. The concert takes place at 3:30.

Will Gillespie is also holding another smaller-scale album release show at the Richmond Tavern in London, Ontario with songwriter Barry James Payne (Stringbone front-man) opening, on Thursday, June 20 from 9:00pm until midnight. And he is playing the Timmins Public Library's 100th Anniversary concert in Hollinger Park in Timmins on Wednesday, July 10.
